What granite is
Granite is an igneous stone — molten rock cooled slowly deep underground, which is why every slab carries its own crystal pattern of quartz, feldspar and mica. No two are alike, and the slab you choose in our showroom is the slab that goes in your kitchen.
Why homeowners choose it
- Extremely durable: heat-, scratch- and stain-resistant when sealed.
- Now priced competitively with man-made solid surfaces, with far more natural variety.
- Repairable — chips and breaks can be filled with color-matched epoxy and re-polished.
- Hundreds of slabs in stock across our two showrooms, so you can see the whole slab before you buy.
Care & maintenance
Clean with a soft cloth, neutral soap and water. A vinegar-and-water mix cuts soap film. Skip abrasive pads and acid-based cleaners, and reseal roughly every one to five years depending on use.
