What quartzite is

Quartzite starts as sandstone and is compressed into one of the hardest surfaces you can put in a kitchen. Visually it reads like marble, with soft grey and white veining over a bright field, but it stands up to the daily abuse a busy island takes.

Why homeowners choose it

  • The soft, veined look homeowners want from marble, with far more durability.
  • Harder than granite and genuinely difficult to scratch.
  • Bright whites and warm neutrals that lift a room without dominating it.
  • A natural stone, so every slab is unique and worth seeing in person.

Care & maintenance

Treat it like granite: neutral cleaner and a soft cloth, prompt cleanup of spills, and periodic resealing to keep the surface repelling liquids.
